Coaching involves a structured conversation that focuses on clients’ ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. Coaching provides a safe place for clients to identify what is and what is not working, try new behaviors, and learn from their new experiences.
Coaching services include values clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, asking clarifying questions, and making requests. Sometimes exercises, questionnaires and/or self-assessments are used. I also introduce clients to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) as a self supporting tool to move past emotional blocks to reaching goals.
Coaching requires a commitment of time, energy and money. Meetings are usually by telephone at regular intervals. Clients are asked to engage in direct, thoughtful conversations, set goals, and take action.
Coaching is not advice-giving, therapy, or counseling; however, it does involve frank discussions and requires a trusting atmosphere

"It’s hard to say how it (coaching )has benefited me the most because I think it helped in all aspects of my life and I didn’t expect that. I suppose I would say it’s been most beneficial in decision making.”
