HOW I COACH
Helping “Boomers” with life transitions such as retirement life planning and enrichment, empty nest, post-care giving, and re-careering is the basis of my practice.
I provide tools such as Values Clarification, Life Wheel, and Goal setting, along with powerful questions, structure, and a safe and courageous space for you to “try on” new perspectives, make decisions and move forward.
Living creatively, connecting with core values, moving past blocks, envisioning, and then creating your ideal lifestyle or livelihood is encouraged and supported. Life is really about the journey, so if we pay attention and strive to feel good from the inside out we can fully enjoy the journey.
Most coaching is by telephone, known as tele-coaching. It is surprisingly effective, and very convenient. When possible, Discovery sessions are in person with ongoing coaching by phone. Location is not a problem when tele-coaching.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
Thanks for stopping by and spending some time. Hiring a coach is a big decision. I coach in a way that helps you discover your own answers because you really are the expert in your own life. My coaching comes from a place of safety and trust which allows us to build a great coaching relationship from which to work.
I am able to relate to people in many situations and on many levels. A few life experiences I have had include: raising a family, returning to school (twice), career changes (several), divorce, losing loved ones, retiring, and now continuing to pursue new paths and interests.
Curiosity and continued learning are important to me. Some things I enjoy are art, golf, travel, reading, hiking, and meditation. I recently challenged myself to go hot air ballooning: it was really a hoot!
I am a proud parent of two adult children. I enjoy their families including their spouses, and three grandchildren. Life in Tucson has been challenging and at the same time very rewarding. I continue to create, modify, and envision my New Retirement with help from my Coach.
